Terms and conditions

By using this website or engaging Million Design Labs ("we", "our" or "us") for design, development or website care services, you agree to these terms. They are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Our services

• Website build: a one-off fee, set out in your written quote. An AI-built website, hand-finished and checked by us, with up to 8 pages, mobile-first design, a contact form and on-page SEO basics.
• Care Plan: a monthly fee, set out in your written quote. Hosting, SSL, form handling, uptime monitoring, up to 30 minutes of edits a month and a monthly check-in.
• Squarespace build: quoted to your project. An alternative to the AI-built website, for clients who want to edit the site themselves. It runs on the client's own Squarespace subscription, so the Care Plan does not apply.

Every website build comes with the Care Plan, which hosts and looks after your site. If you need more than 8 pages, we will quote for the extra pages before we start.

Before work starts, we confirm in writing what is included, the price and what we need from you.

We are not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added to our prices.

7-day launch guarantee

Your website will be live within 7 days of us receiving your content. If it is not, your first month of the Care Plan is free.

The 7 days start once we have all of your content in one handover: the text for every page, your images and your logo. If we are waiting on your feedback, or on access we need such as to your domain, the 7 days pause until we have it.

How we work together

Project updates and feedback are handled over WhatsApp and email, with calls when needed. We will keep you updated throughout the build.

You can ask for as many changes as you like during the 7-day build. After launch, edits are covered by the Care Plan.

Payment

All invoices and payments are handled through Bonsai. For a website build, a 50% non-refundable deposit is due before work starts and secures your slot. The remaining 50% is due on launch, before we hand the site over.

The Care Plan is billed monthly in advance through Bonsai.

The Care Plan

The Care Plan is a monthly plan with no minimum term. You can cancel at any time by email, and it ends at the end of the month you have already paid for.

It includes up to 30 minutes of edits each month. Unused time does not roll over to the next month. If you need more than 30 minutes in a month, we will quote for the extra work before doing it.

When your Care Plan ends, we send you the full website files so you can host the site elsewhere. Our hosting stops at the end of your final paid month.

Ownership

Once your website build has been paid in full, you own your website code. Until then, all designs, code and other work remain the property of Million Design Labs, and using unpaid work without permission is not allowed.

Our portfolio

We may show the websites we build in our portfolio and marketing, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, for example under a non-disclosure agreement.

Cancelling or pausing a project

If you cancel a website build before launch, your 50% deposit is non-refundable, and nothing further is charged. If you need to pause, we will pick the project back up as soon as your content or feedback arrives.

Using this website

The content on this website is for general information about our services. We aim to keep it accurate and up to date, but prices and services may change. The terms agreed in writing for your project always take priority.
